GHO offers a comprehensive range of services for children and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD). We are dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals to live, love, work, and learn within their communities. Through person-centered support, we empower individuals to make their own decisions, fostering independence, dignity, and self-determination.

We’re a trusted resource that serves more than 500 people each year, providing culturally tailored services to people in New York City.

For a quarter-century, GHO has served people of all cultures, while putting a special focus on the Asian-American population. We strive to match the people we serve and their families with supports that are culturally congruent, allowing our services to be truly beneficial. Our dedicated staff can speak the following languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean and English.
